The Türk winery is located to the west of Vienna in the idyllic wine village of Stratzing im Kremstal, around six kilometres north of Krems. The roots of this renowned family business go back to the beginning of the 18th century. The current business location was acquired in 1836 and expanded from generation to generation. The main focus is on indigenous varieties, with Grüner Veltliner accounting for 75 percent.
The aim of the winegrowing family is to produce wines that are rich in finesse, as well as being full-bodied and lively, reflecting the Kremstal with its soils and microclimates, through gentle vinification and a vinification that emphasises the terroir and the character typical of the region. The sweet wines, many of which have won international awards, are a must. As expected, the Eiswein from Grüner Veltliner presents itself in an appealing way.
