Tasting from 14.07.2021: Gerhild Burkard, Valentine Mühlberger

Dark berry nose of cassis, elderberry flesh and cherry confit, floral notes of baccara rose. Substantial mid palate through the combination of fine grippy tannin, juicy acidity and salty minerality. Finishes with delicate chocolate notes and some peppery, balsamic savouriness with long grip. An adolescent wine with ambitions to be long-lived.
