The red wine Barolo DOCG Briccolina, vintage 2019 from the winery Rivetto dal 1902 has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Intense aromas of ripe cherries, cranberries and plums on the nose, paired with notes of undergrowth and truffles. Very precise on the palate with plenty of drive, the tannins are vivid and tightly meshed as the wine progresses, long, fruity finish.
