The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery L"Astemia has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant ruby red colour with a slightly brightening rim. Initially somewhat closed on the nose, then opens up with notes of pomegranate and red currants, underpinned by blood orange aromas and cedar wood in the background. Fruity on the palate, harmonious and balanced, with fine tannins, texture and a long finish.
