The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery L"Astemia has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Shimmering pale red with brick-red reflections. Inviting aromas of Amarena cherry and ripe blackberry, plus clove, tea leaf and cold smoke. Full-bodied on the palate, opens up with a rich smooth texture, distinct oak savouriness, very modern, juicy on the finish with lots of fruit texture.
