The red wine Barolo DOCG del Comune di Serralunga, vintage 2020 from the winery Giovanni Rosso has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant ruby red colour with a slightly brightening orange rim. Initially somewhat reserved on the nose, then opens up with nuances of wild berries and raspberries, with a slightly smoky note in the background and some undergrowth. On the palate, with a beautiful fruit notion, fine texture and good balance, the tannins are tightly woven and well integrated, long finish with notes of raspberries.
