The red wine Cerretta Barolo DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Giovanni Rosso has been rated in 2014 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant, intense garnet red colour. Playful and multi-layered nose, showing notes of cranberry, some mint in the background, then also peach and raspberry. Opens with lots of vivid, ripe fruit, then builds up powerfully, grippy, dense tannins, firm and gripping, very long finish.
