On the nose yeast, straw and flowers, with some nutty undertones. There's also a hint of wood perhaps. The palate has a fine mineral tint and the mousse is restrained in the classic Blanc de Blancs style, but provides sufficient freshness and tension. The acidity is well integrated, neither sharp nor flat, making for a very stylish Chardonnay-based Sekt.
