Tasting Notes

92+
Tasting from 22.03.2023: Ulrich Sautter

Intense aroma of ripe fruit, cherry and currant, some dried fig, herbal notes, wood savouriness, also slightly ethereal, eucalyptus, pine needle oil. Soft and carried on the palate with the body and fruit promised by the 2018 vintage. Full-bodied, ripe, mellow tannins in good measure, balancing acidity, mineral background. The unfolding minerality also characterises the long finish.
