The red wine Sottobosco, vintage 2018 from the winery Agriloro SA has been rated in 2022 by Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot from the region Canton of Ticino in Switzerland.
There are concentrated fruit aromas on the nose with notes of dried sour cherry, plum, and wild berry, as well as some toasty notes, mocha and dark chocolate, and herbal and spicy hints. It is elegant on the palate, with juicy acidity and hearty fruit. There are flavours of wild berry, and cherry, as well as a hint of caramel and tobacco, and it has fine-grained polished tannins, and a nice long finish.
