Dark ruby, violet reflections. Dark fruit, elderberry, plum, also cassis, nuances of oak, some vanilla. Stately fullness on the palate with sweetish pressure, again lots of dark fruit and ripe acidity. Lingers for a medium length of time with dark fruit and a concise, gripping tannin.
