A dark ruby red, with an opaque core, purple hues, some brightening on the rim. Oak, dark berry fruit, dark cherries, some vanilla, liquorice. Powerful, juicy, elegant, a fresh acidity, a chocolatey touch on the finish, accessible, full-bodied, good ageing potential.
