The red wine Südtiroler Lagrein Roblinus de Waldgries DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Ansitz Waldgries has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Intense ruby red with a rich tone. Restrained and delicate nose with wild berry notes, undergrowth and reverberating plum confit. Very gripping and juicy on the palate, builds slowly but very long, fine and tightly woven tannin fills the mouth completely, but still needs to grown-up a bit.
