Rich, impenetrable ruby purple. Appealing nose with intense notes of cigar tobacco, elderberry and ripe blackberry. Intense fruit on the palate, lots of elderberry and plum, fades a bit mid-palate, then stands firm again on the finish. Grippy tannin.
