The franciacorta Quintessence Franciacorta Riserva DOCG Extra Brut, vintage 2015 from the winery Antica Fratta has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Franciacorta in Italy.
Bright straw yellow with a delicate copper tinge and the finest mousse. On the nose, beeswax, light honey, quince, a hint of baked apple, with an aftertaste of blueberry and candied fruit. On the palate it shows with a great texture and crisp fruit, very vertical and focused, firm drive on the finish.
