The sekt Arunda Riserva Extra Brut Südtiroler Sekt DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Arunda has been rated in 2018 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, rich straw yellow with persistent mousse. Very appealing and fragrant nose, aromas of apple right from the tree, some apricot, underpinned by notes of flint and yeasted pastry. Salty and dense on the palate, coating on the entry, then unfolds smoothly and long, good drive on the finish, well-integrated mousse.
