The sekt Riserva Südtirol DOC Extra Brut, vintage 2012 from the winery Arunda has been rated in 2019 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, rich straw yellow with a very persistent mousse. Very appealing and fragrant nose - tree-fresh apple, some apricot, underpinned by notes of flint and yeasty pastry. Salty and dense on the palate, spreads richly in the front, then unfolds smoothly and long, good drive in the finish, well integrated mousse.
