The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Azelia has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Bright ruby red. The nose is somewhat restrained with gentle savoury notes. A palate with much bite, shows multilayered tannins and fruit, currently still very young. Needs more time to reach its potential.
