The white wine Toy Pinot Grigio Collio DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Castello di Spessa has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
A bright copper colour. On the nose there is a candied orange aroma, with calisaya bark, a fine spiciness, some pepper, apricot, and a slight note of glue. It is balanced and consistent on the palate, unfolding nicely, with juiciness and good grip, and it has persistence and a lovely spicy finish.
