The white wine Santarosa Pinot Bianco Collio DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Castello di Spessa has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Luminous bright greenish yellow in colour. On the nose, initial aroma reveal slightly yeasty and bready notes, with plenty of green apple and some anise. The palate initially reveals finely ripened fruit but the wine appears disjoined as it develops with a slightly burnt note on the finish.
