The red wine Riserva Rüncot Barolo DOCG, vintage 2007 from the winery Azienda Agricola Elio Grasso has been rated in 2013 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, shiny ruby with garnet glints. Very clear and fragrant nose of fresh plums, some blackberry, lots of licorice in the background. Textured and firm on the palate, showing lots of ripe berry fruit, especially blackberry, but then quite clearly characterized by wood on the finish, lots of liquorice, also some sandalwood.
