The red wine Ginestra Casa Matè Barolo DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Azienda Agricola Elio Grasso has been rated in 2012 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Sparkling, rich ruby with garnet. Fine nose, elegant notes of dark cherry, leather, spices in the background. Powerful and full-bodied on the palate, showing lots of ripe fruit, gripping, hearty tannins, but then becomes somewhat rough on the finish, quite alcoholic on the finish.
