The red wine »Graf von Kageneck« Spätburgunder im Eichenfass gereift trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Badischer Winzerkeller has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
Sweet cherry, dill and chervil on the nose, along with subtly chocolaty wood. The palate is juicy and subtle, the carefully extracted tannins seem ripe, the slightly mineral-toned structure and the neat palate fruit result in an unobtrusive food wine.
