The white wine Ape Regina Friuli Colli Orientali Riserva DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Bastianich has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Intense, shiny golden yellow colour. Pronounced nut butter, oak and apricot sponge cake on the nose, a touch of acacia honey. Polished on the palate, still somewhat youthful, but fine use of wood, rich fruit, still needs some time, but has a lot of ageing potential.
