The red wine Tenuta Belguardo, vintage 2012 from the winery Belguardo has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with lots of violet. Very intense and compact nose, showing notes of elderberries, cassis, some tobacco, marzipan in the background. Very polished on the palate, opens up with lots of fine tannins, juicy fruit, builds for a long time, very persistent on the finish.
