The red wine Tenuta Belguardo Maremma Toscana Rosso DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Belguardo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense garnet red. The nose shows elegant wood spice, ripe forest berries, rich cherry, fine spice, certainly inviting. On the palate, it's still youthful with perceptible use of oak, discreet but still to be integrated, heading in the right direction, grippy and powerful, shows fine, dark berry fruit, full and long, good with excellent ageing potential.
