Tasting from 06.09.2024: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright, elegant ruby red. Initially hints of sealing wax on the nose, then opens up to reveal rich berry fruits, strawberry confit, blackcurrant and a hint of oak. Taut on the palate, with earthy tannins and pronounced fruit, richly structured and somewhat alcoholic on the finish. A great match for hearty dishes.
