The red wine Merìa Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Bell'Aja has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Gently shining ruby red colour. Multi-layered, elegant bouquet, initially savoury and with dark berries, then mocha and balsamic aromas followed by toffee. A great interplay of precise fruit, silky tannins and invigorating acidity on the palate, coming back again and again in waves.
