Tasting from 17.02.2021: Ulrich Sautter

This cuvée of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec has a noticeably smoky note on the nose. There are also savoury, herbal aromas of lovage. The fruit component is rather subtle, but is reminiscent of morello cherries. There is a clear astringency and sandy tannin on the palate. The acidity tends to remain in the background. A super wine with grilled, fatty beef.
