A fragrant Rheingau Riesling with berry and floral notes, good clarity and expression, the spontaneous fermentation aromas are recognisable but do not dominate the savouriness. Juicy and lean on the palate, but with good density and a well-judged phenolic backbone. Half classic, half avant-garde - and successful.
