Tasting Notes

93+
Tasting from 20.02.2026: Ulrich Sautter

An open but still fresh nose: wild plum, elderberry, ripe blackberry, black pepper. Despite the powerful alcohol, the palate has plenty of juiciness and is elegant and animating, with a lively acid nerve and intense tactile minerality providing length and tension. Lots of Pinot, and also clearly Mosel.
