The red wine Assmannshausen Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Bischöfliches Weingut Rüdesheim GmbH has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
A hint of black elderberry resonates fragrantly on the cherry nose, together with smoke. On the palate, the fruit is fine, ripe, supple and pure. The finest tannins are taut and wonderfully firm, giving the wine its graceful structure. Very good.
