Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate ochre rim. A hint of blueberry and dried rose petal, herbal savouriness, black heart cherry, cool minerality underneath. Complex, tightly meshed and elegant, sweet and velvety, fine acid structure, appears light-footed despite a certain opulence, supporting tannins, very good length, a full-bodied food companion with good certain ageing potential.
