Tasting from 21.03.2014

Deep dark ruby-garnet colour, black core, purple reflections, delicate watery rim. Inviting nuances of cloves, candied orange zest, a fine smoked note, background with ripe black berry confit, opens up well with air. Complex, intense dark berry fruit, vivid but well-integrated tannins, fine chocolate touch, savoury and persistent, delicate chocolate touch on the finish, should definitely be allowed to enjoy further bottle ageing.
