Brilliant dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections. Fine herbal savouriness, a hint of amarana cherries, hints of nougat and figs, multi-faceted and inviting. Complex, taut, emphasised cool freshness, cherries, ripe, supporting tannins, mineral, salty, without any trace of opulence. Shows great length and certain ageing potential, a Vin de Garde.
