Brilliant dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections. Delicately smoky, herbal and savoury, dark berry fruit, some velvety, preserved cherries, candied orange zest. Juicy, complex, ripe dark berries, a hint of plums, freshly structured with ripe tannins, emphatically mineral and taut on the finish, finely-meshed, a hint of nougat, shows length and certain ageing potential.
