The red wine Culmen Reserva Rioja DOCa, vintage 2001 from the winery Bodegas Lan has been rated in 2006 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Graciano from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Dark ruby garnet, deep core of color, violet reflections, delicate watery rim. Delicately dominated by oak notes on the nose, hints of sloes and lemon zest. Elegant on the palate, fresh structure, cherry fruit, firm, still somewhat brittle tannins, good food companion with further ageing potential, quite typical of Rioja.
