Deep dark ruby colour, opaque core, purple reflections. Hints of nougat, blackberry confit, ripe plums, a hint of bourbon vanilla, orange zest underneath. Deep, full-bodied, fruity texture of fully ripe plums, round tannins, combines fruitiness with a pleasant fresh structure, lingers well, chocolatey nuances on the finish, a juicy food wine with certain ageing potential. A charming bomb.
