The red wine Cerequio Barolo DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Boroli has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a slight garnet tinge. Smells shyly of cedar, liquorice and some mushroom, with a slightly minty note to follow. Full-bodied and fresh on the palate, it's very precise and clear with great integrated acidity. Feels harmonious in the attack and mid-palate, then slightly drying on the finish.
