Tasting Notes
A touch of reduction initially clouds the beautiful pepperiness of the red-fruited nose. The palate immediately shows poise and elegance, a kind of cool, serene but ripe red fruit, this sails on a very even keel, smooth, with only the slightest crunch from very fine tannins, more of that pepperiness shimmers deliciously on the finish.
More about the tastingHints of white blossom and fresh greengage are met with an enticing creaminess. The palate adds a phenolic hint of nuttiness and makes the fresh fruit rounder. There is just a little heat on the finish but the vivd tension trumps in the end.
