Bright ruby. Open-hearted and ripe on the nose, with notes of figs, overripe cherry fruit, some damp earth and resin. Medium-bodied on the palate with ripe fruit and fine-grained tannins, appears ripe and oxidative, but shows a certain tension, metallic and somewhat tired in the finish.
