The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Ca' dei Maghi has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby. Rich and memorable nose of cherry juice, lots of blueberry, in the background some vanilla. On the palate much ripe fruit, unfortunately also drying tannin, on the finish clear wood overhang.
