Elegant, deep ruby red with subtle brightening on the rim. Finely marked nose of luscious currants and elderberry, slight aroma of shoe cream, seems very compact and inviting. Plucky and grippy on the palate with clearly vivid tannin, nice interplay of fruit and acidity, spreads out with firm drive, a massive wine that dries up slightly on the finish.
