Sparkling ruby with a pronounced garnet rim. Very exciting nose, dense and memorable, leather, licorice, then lots of plum, some cranberry. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, shows lots of ripe, present fruit, unfolds with grippy, fine tannins at the core, long finish, fun.
