The red wine Barbaresco Rio Sordo DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Ca' Romè has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Dark shining ruby red. Hearty, rich nose of ripe rosehip, cherry, some strawberry jam and hints of leather. Compact and dense on the palate with polished tannin, spreads densely over the tongue, a touch drying on the finish but with a lot of drive and potential. .
