The red wine Piromàfo Salento IGP, vintage 2016 from the winery Cantina Fiorentino has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Negroamaro
Bright ruby red with garnet on the rim. Dried plum on the nose with candied fig, leather and background hints of thyme. Lots of fruit expression on the palate and a pleasant texture; a combination of black cherry and dried herbs on the long finish.
