Bright, rich dark ruby. Spicy nose of rich dark cherries, rose petal, some undergrowth, plus slight hints of smoke and cold butter, constantly turning in the glass, complex. Also complex on the palate, with great savoury tannins, clear fruit and a salty undertone, very precise, with great length, what a surprise!
