The red wine Pugnitello IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Cantina LaSelva has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Maremma in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby-violet. Fleshy and dense on the nose, full of tobacco, blackberries and ripe plums. Hearty and gripping on the attack, opens with fleshy fruit, lots of dense tannins with sweet melting, fine spicy notes on the finish.
