The Sweet and Dessert Wine Epokale Gewürztraminer Spätlese Südtirol DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Kellerei Tramin has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Shiny, light golden yellow in colour. A very clear and intense nose of yellow roses, lychee, ripe mango and some dried orange peel. Balanced and round on the palate, it glides along beautifully with notes of dried apricots, roses and saffron. It's unfortunately a little broad on the finish, and still very young.
