The red wine Verjago Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Cantina Valpolicella Negrar has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Corvinone Veronese, Croatina, Oseleta from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark shining ruby red with a rich core. Opens on the nose with intense notes of wood and dark chocolate, blackberries, on the finish even tar. Rich and over-wooded wine, powerful body, nevertheless shows a lot of dark berry fruit, finishes on clear tannin.
